Welcome to the Town of Ellisburg, NY official website. We are located in Jefferson County in Upstate NY. We have a population of approximately 3,500 people. This website provides a variety of information related to the Town and also serves a place where you can access board minutes, forms, and meeting agenda's. The goal of the website is to improve transparency and provide information more easily and accessibly for the community.

Town of Ellisburg will be flushing water hydrants between September 20-September 30.  You my experience brown or tinted water.  This will clear, it is temporary.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hearing on Preliminary Budget 
Notice is hereby given that the preliminary budget(s) for the Town of Ellisburg Water District Nos. 1, No. 2 and Joint Water Fund for the fiscal year 2025 has been completed and filed with the Town Clerk where it is available for inspection by any interested persons.
            Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of Ellisburg will meet and review said preliminary budget and hold a public hearing thereon at the Town Hall, 11574 South Main Street, Ellisburg, New York on the 3rd day of October, 2024 at 7:10pm, and at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against any item therein contained.
